Responsibility
The Project Office of EUCLYD, based at the Telethon Institute of Genetics and Medicine, Italy, is responsible for the structure and contents of the EUCLYD website. The contents of the site is however open to all members of the project, and constructive comments on how to improve it are always welcome.Dr Luciana Borrelli, Project Administrator, provided all the texts, by extracting and integrating the information included in the official proposal/contract of the EUCLYD Collaborative Project under the supervision of Dr Graciana Diez Roux, Project Manager. Giampiero Lago designed the website under the supervision of Luciana Borrelli. As webmaster of the project, Giampiero Lago assumes the maintenance and the development of the site.

Technical aspects
Our website is designed for use with modern browsers: Firefox, Internet Explorer 5-7, Netscape 6-8, Opera 7-9, Safari, Sea Monkey, other Mozilla-5-based browsers, etc. It has been dimensioned for display at 1024 x 768 pixels minimum. Actually the proportion of smaller screens – 800 x 600 pixels or less – used around the world is now no longer sufficient to be taken into consideration while designing a website.The site structure and functioning makes use of PHP scripts (server side), functions and applications linked to a MySQL database. Layout, text and form styling is designed by Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) according to W3C specifications.

As important functions, such as the rolling menus, are controlled by Javascript (client side), users will be asked to keep enabled the Javascript option of their browser (“Preferences” or “Options” menus).
